Job Summary

The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for a Project Specialist, Teacher Effectiveness for the Teacher Effectiveness and Preparation Team of the Human Resource Services Division. The Project Specialist, Teacher Effectiveness provides support within the Teacher Effectiveness & Preparation programs. This position is full-time and will offer the certificated management benefits package, which includes medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, and will participate in the CalSTRS state retirement system.

Requirements / Qualifications

This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree, and five (5) years of teaching experience, including three (3) years of increasingly responsible mentoring and/or leadership responsibilities. Experience conducting and coordinating professional development activities, facilitating meetings, and experience working effectively with teachers and administrators is highly preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Credentials:

  • Valid CA Teaching Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
  • Valid CA Driver License
  • Valid CA Administrative Services Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing preferred
