The Adult Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Therapist facilitates quality, evidence-based mental health therapy groups. The PHP Therapist is responsible for conducting group therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based concepts and modalities, maintaining accurate patient documentation in the medical record, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients, working in conjunction with members of a multidisciplinary team, communicating with family members, referral sources and community partners and coordinating patients’ discharge plans.
This is a full-time position. ***Supervision towards licensure offered***

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling Clinical Psychology or Marriage & Family Therapy; or PhD in Psychology, Counseling or other related field.
Prior experience providing therapeutic interventions for the psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient or group setting. - Provisional license in respective field (e.g. SWC, LPCC, MFTC) required. LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred. ***Supervision towards licensure offered***
- Prefer knowledge of: group and individual therapy interventions and modalities; risk assessment and crisis/behavior management; mental health disorders and associated treatment; discharge planning and patient case management.
