Join an exciting and rewarding job with a growing and well-respected Company in a specialized industry working with adults with mental and physical injuries in a group home setting, helping them to recover and to achieve their maximum level of independence. You will be involved with daily rehabilitation in a residential setting to include assisting with cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, budgeting, and other independent living skills. Duties also include helping plan and implement in-home and community-based activities to meet the needs and desires of the resident participants, helping them work on their individual goals and documenting their progress in the program.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Essential Job Functions:

· Responsible for the overall care and well-being of participants

· Give input and constructive feedback to Care Coordinators.

· Input documentation into Therap electronic system.

· Administer medications (training for QMAP Certification will be provided if not already certified).

· Assist participants with laundry, cooking and housekeeping as part of the participant’s daily rehabilitation.

· Helps coordinate participant activities.

· Maintain a professional attitude.

· Experience dealing with difficult situations.

· Assist with transporting. A current DMV report will be obtained once a year.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required.

· State of Colorado Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification is preferred, but if not held Company will pay for QMAP Training depending on shift and duties.

· Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

· Must possess basic cooking skills/knowledge.

· Current CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is preferred, but if not held Company will pay for training.

· Must have excellent written and computer skills. Experience with charting on Electronic Health Record is preferred.

· Must have a current Colorado Driver License and Motor Vehicle Insurance.

· Must submit to and pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and criminal background check.

Pay: Competitive, depending on experience, education and other factors.

Supervises: None with posted position, although Company provides opportunities for advancement to other positions.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17.00 – $18.50 per hour
