Parenting Time Visitation Facilitator

What your day looks like:
As a part time Parenting Time Visitation Facilitator, you will create your own flexible schedule including evenings and weekends, to supervise visits in the client home, community, or in our offices. Families involved in this program have children removed from the home and into the child welfare system due to allegations of abuse and/or neglect.
During these supervised visits, you will utilize a trauma informed lens to provide engaging parenting skills training, psycho-education aimed towards increasing a family’s bond, and in the moment re-direction and parent coaching in order to promote the safe and successful reunification of families.
You will be an advocate for the families, setting goals with the assistance of the caseworker and families, documenting progress, reporting any concerns of alleged abuse/neglect, testifying in court as needed, and providing transportation if required by the referral.
This position involves driving in the community to transport children to supervised visits.

Do the Following Apply to You?
- Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field (Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, etc.)
- Organized and able to independently maintain your schedule
- Experience working with kids, crisis intervention and conflict resolution, and knowledge of child development and the child welfare system
- Experience using and creating Excel spreadsheets
- Proof of valid Driver’s License with clean driving record, as well as valid auto insurance
- Looking to work a flexible schedule 15 or more hours a week
